This is a lower-cost version of the regular desktop Pro Advisor subscription, including some but not all of the desktop products.They are also introducing some new names for the different variations of the program, as I’ll go into later.When opening the company file for the first time after installing a product update, you may see a progress bar as the structure change is implemented.It is important to allow this change to complete; do not end task on Quick Books during this process. Quick Books will see that your company file exists in an earlier version and needs updating.Once you confirm, Quick Books will update your company file to your new version.They have just purchased three full install licenses of QB 2016 Premier from Techsoup. For the two desktop installs, I will just uninstall 2013 and install 2016. Is it best to save the company file to a thumb drive, uninstall 2013, install 2016 and then open the company file or is there a different/better way to do upgrade the server? Don't uninstall 2013 until you know you have 2016 completely up and running.
A bug in Quick Books 2016 has been identified, and it is going to take them awhile to get this fixed.
This release contains a number of new features as well as improvements to existing ones.
